Uit de restvormen van de houten panelen van het kunstwerk “Toen, nu en later” voor de appartementen Rijswijk Wonen: Nieuw Benedictus heb ik 3 werken samengesteld.
Deze reliëfs verbeelden de drie rivieren: Waal, Rijn en Maas.

De nieuwe serie “What’s next?” Per 1 mei 2020
De werkstukken gaan over de toekomst waarin de stad weer in verbinding staat met de natuur en hebben alle drie het thema:
“What’s next?” Map of the future.
Ik ben geïnspireerd door het milieu activisme: MilieuDefensie, Extinction Rebellion en door de kunst van Talking Trees, Bert Barten.
Het is een landkaart/helikopteroverzicht van een stad, die een lange tijd ongemoeid is gelaten door de mens en waar de natuur het overgenomen heeft.
Bomen groeien huizenhoog, water, zuurstof en alle organisme zoals schimmels en eencellige vormen de nieuwe maatschappij. Hier is ook plaats voor de mens.
